Our Story

Bleu Bleuet started out life as a handkerchief store in 1986.
What started out as a small store selling a wide-variety of handkerchiefs has grown to become a lifestyle store selling products from clothes to stationery to food stuffs.

As you can attain from our name, our stores were influenced by the French lifestyle, and popular lifestyle magazines.
Drawing inspiration from the French lifestyle stores and Parisian markets, our stores started to reflect this.

In 2014, we started selling our products online through our Online Store, and in 2015, we opened Détour à Bleuet in Jingumae, close to Harajuku.
This store has a slightly different concept, and sells products found by our overseas' staff, complete with a café and a variety of items.

Currently, we have over 150 stores around the country, and continue to grow and expand.

  • A store that focuses on foodstuff, fashion accessories, and interior goods was the concept for our brand 'Détour à Bleuet', combining a general store with cafe.
